Professional Development Trainings
Below are four examples of professional development resources and programs that I have created and facilitated in collaboration with my team. The first is an asynchronous summer assignment set (readings and videos with guided questions and reflection), called Reverie, for faculty on differentiation that connected to synchronous sessions. The second is a hybrid of instructor-led and eLearning curriculum for a pilot on project-based learning for middle school faculty. The third is a training program for faculty in conjunction with the learning services team, The fourth is an online curriculum for training faculty in a curriculum mapping software called CourseTune.
Differentiation
The 2018 summer reading, watching, and reflection for faculty, named Reverie, focused on the theme of differentiation. The goal of this resource was to offer choice and vary the mediums available for faculty in an asynchronous setting. The curriculum included a required reading - a short text Vision to Legacy on the history of the school's founder - and then pick two readings and two videos. Each reading and video source included guided reflection questions that were later used to facilitate a discussion protocol on the first day of pre-planning. I used Canva to design the booklet provided to each staff member.

Project-Based Learning
The images below are shots from a pilot curriculum for a cohort of faculty on project-based learning that included both asynchronous eLearning and synchronous instructor-led sessions. Online materials were created in Articulate Storyline 2 and Google Apps, and were organized in Canvas (LMS) modules. The curriculum aimed to be experiential - where participants designed their project as they completed the course - to meet the limited time available by faculty to complete the course.

Learning Differently
In spring 2019 our team collaborated with the Learning Services team to provide a day of engaging professional learning. We outlined and organized the schedule for the day, including whole group, small mixed groups, small homogenous groups, and reflection time. To best facilitate learning, we met with each subject matter expert about their session and crafted a hand-made personalized participant booklet to accompany learning, reflection, and application (shown right). Materials were created using Canva and GoodNotes. |

CourseTune
Our team was tasked with training 120+ staff members to use a new software tool for curriculum mapping called CourseTune. We laid the foundation in a pre-workshop to assess and refine basic skills in writing objectives and course archetype design that learners would need to be proficient at while using the software. The software training materials were developed using Canva and Google Apps. All learners participated virtually in a combination of synchronous and asynchronous sessions. Below is a sample of the leader guide as well as artifacts from the pre-workshop and software training.
