EDIT 6210: Learning Environments II
For this project I served as the project manager. My group, the Mega Powers (which also included Stephen Bridges, Chris Nylund, Ben Hall, and Jessica McCrea), created an eLearning module for faculty at the Galloway School on implementing effective video projects/assignments. This module was embedded into Canvas (Galloway's LMS). The team began by conducting a thorough needs analysis, preparing instructional objectives, storyboarding the planned design, developing and designing the module, and ended with a formative evaluation of the learning tool with a small group of test learners. We maintained a website of all project documents, which can be found here. The full learning module can be found here. I chose this artifact for analysis because it was a project that clearly demonstrated an instructional need in the needs analysis conducted at the start of the project. But, while the needs analysis told me that there was a gap between what faculty wanted to do and what they knew to be able to do it, I would have expanded the needs analysis to better clarify exactly what information and specific skills the faculty had wanted to learn. |
